PINK, WHITE QUILT SQUARES 100% COTTON UPHOLSTERY FABRIC SCENES 4 SHABBY CHIC CRIB. Fabric: 100% Cotton. I am not certain of the fabric content. I prewashed this fabric and it frayed and shrunk a lot leading me to believe it is cotton. Heavier weight tightly woven upholstery fabric. White or ivory, off white background. The pink coordinates well with pale pink and coral pink colors. I am really inspired to make a shabby chic quilt. My method is to have one fabric that is the central theme. In my case it is a bright large floral print. My goal is to have this fabric in each square. Then the other fabrics must coordinate with that fabric. Lots of white and florals seem to be important for the shabby chic theme. I am using a random pattern of squares and rectangles, cut and placed however I like. I am using the quilt as you go method. After I pieced my first couple of squares, I remembered I had this scene print remnant. When I found it, I knew I had to include it in my quilt. I am making a full size quilt, so not that focused on having children in every square. I am more focused on the nature theme. Sizes of squares and rectangle varies from 6 x 6 inches to 2 x 4 1/2 inches. I allowed for a 1/2 inch seam. The fabric in this bundle are the ones pictured. Completed quilt square is for inspiration only and is not included. Fabrics in completed quilt square are available as a separate item.
