I love Corelle because it is light weight, chip and break resistant, and microwaveable. I purchased my first set when my children were very young. We used it everyday. They have graduated from college now.
After 20+ years of daily use and the dishwasher the edges had tiny chips and were rough. When I looked into getting a new set I was surprised by how pricey they had become. So I tried stone wear. After so many years with Corelle, I hated the heaviness of stone wear. It seemed like the weight of one plate was equal to 4 Corelle plates. China breaks too easy and my wedding china has gold rimmed edges which can't be microwaved. Now I had to have new Corelle. Every time I found a piece at a thrift store I bought it. I didn't care what the pattern was, I was after function. Now I have been able to get enough and have a favorite pattern. I also obtained some of the small berry bowls and I love the size of luncheon plates. It is almost like Corelle has become like depression glass to my generation.
CONDITION: Excellent like new condition. No chips, cracks or rough edges. Most of what I sell is used, vintage, or antique. Except when marked, new please expect some signs of age or wear.
