AMERICAN GIRL 18" DOLL CLOTHES PANTS PINK LEGGINGS ATHLETIC NEW. Handmade in the USA. I'm not sure of the fabric content. My best guess is a nylon spandex blend. A really a nice fitting pair of pink pants. Elastic waist for ease of dressing. I stitch through the elastic waist a couple of times to prevent rolling or twisting. All seams are stitched twice, first with a sewing machine straight stitch and then a serger to prevent fraying. I know how many times these clothes will be put on and taken off, so I strive to make them last for this generation and to be handed down to the next. I have added a tag to assist in resale should the owner decide not to keep his or her doll clothes for the next generation. These pants are modeled on an American Girl doll but fit equally well on Life of Faith, Daisy Kingdom, Our Generation, Battat and most other similarly sized 18 inch dolls. Educational: One of my fondest memories is of putting together new outfits from separates (ie skirts, tops, jackets, jeans, etc.) for my dolls. It was a great way to learn how to do this for myself. I am now doing this with my daughter with her clothes. We are having so much fun. Now she is getting better at it than I am. Recently we had an outfit of two solid colors. We wanted something to tie it all together. She thought and then said, "I know" and ran out of the room. She came back with a necklace with those two colors. These leggings can be paired with almost any color t-shirt, top, or leotard. They can be everyday school wear or part of an athletic outfit.
