A unique excellent fitting pale pink t-shirt with a pink and green Camp Beverly Hills applique for the most authentic realistic clothes for 18 inch dolls. I cut up a pink t-shirt using the original factory hem for the hem of the t-shirt and sleeves. Recycling was popular during the Westward expansion out of necessity. Today it is done by choice. I have had the appliqued Camp Beverly Hills patch for many years just waiting for the perfect use and this is it.. Original t-shirt and sleeve hems from the t-shirt to give the doll t-shirt a more authentic look. The back bodice is fully lined for an excellent finish and to add strength and durability. Full width velco closure in the back. I tried several different t-shirt patterns for dolls and was so unimpressed with the fit, I made my own pattern. I think this t-shirt has superior fit compared to those made with other patterns. I know how many times these clothes will be put on and taken off, so I strive to make them last for this generation and to be handed down to the next. I have added a tag to assist in resale should the owner decide not to keep his or her doll clothes for the next generation. This t-shirt is modeled on an American Girl doll but fit equally well on Life of Faith, Daisy Kingdom, Our Generation, Battat and most other similarly sized 18 inch dolls. Educational: One of my fondest memories is of putting together new outfits from separates (ie skirts, tops, jackets, jeans, etc.) for my dolls. It was a great way to learn how to do this for myself. I am now doing this with my daughter with her clothes. We are having so much fun. Now she is getting better at it than I am. Recently we had an outfit of two solid colors. We wanted something to tie it all together. She thought and then said, "I know" and ran out of the room. She came back with a necklace with those two colors. This t-shirt can be paired with jeans for a patriotic outfit. Pair it with the navy Olympic sweat pants for an Olympic outft. It can be paired with solid red or blue shorts.
