Medium weight wide rib knitted texture long sleeve late 80's early 90's vintage sweater with crewel embroidery at the front of the V neck. The large over sized drop shoulders and shorter waist length are common attributes of sweaters worn with high rise mom jeans in the late 80's and early 90's. Olive green and tan three dimensional yarn balls are nestled among olive green and navy blue leaves on an olive green stem. This resembles a grapevine to me. An olive green and tan design is also knitted it along the front V neck edge. 7/8 inch wide ribbing at the neck. 2 inch wide ribbing at the hem of sleeves and sweater. Slight shoulder pads. This favorite sweater has been washed and worn several times and now has the shabby chic look of slight fading at the neck edge. In the late 80's and early 90's everything was denim and the dark blue leaves of the crewel embroidery will tie in well with denim. This is also a nice sweater to be worn as a petite size.
