JEANIUS WOMEN'S SIZE 12 TALL PANTS NAVY & TAN TWEED PLEATED SLACKS TROUSERS HIGH RISE WAIST. Handmade by Jeanius Fabrications in the late 1980's. Fabric content is unknown. My best guess is a cotton blend. Intact and working zipper closure in front fly. Two pleats on each side in the front for a total of 4 pleats. Two darts in the back. Two slit pockets in the side seams. 3 self fabric belt loops. All seams are stitched twice, first with a sewing machine straight stitch and then a serger to prevent fraying. When sewing for myself my goal was to make clothes that no one could tell were homemade. I sewed many of my clothes because back then it was less expensive to sew clothes than to buy them and I didn't have a lot of money. It was also difficult to find pants in tall sizes. The cheap clothes that I had purchased usually came apart at the seams. My handmade clothes did not ! I would be wearing these pants today, but I weigh more now then I did then and have given up the hope of ever wearing these again.
