My daughter was a voracious reader and still is. After getting a hefty fine one month for past due books and moving 30 miles from town, I started buying books, knowing I could sell them when she was finished. She was reading above her grade level. Getting language arts textbooks worked well to keep her supplied with reading material. She is in college now and it is time to pass these books on to another voracious reader. This could also be used as a summer review for a student who struggled in grade, or to use with a grader over the summer to get a head start on grade.
