JEANOUS GIRL'S SIZE 4 / 6 PILLOWCASE DRESS RED & IVORY VICTORIAN WALLPAPER STRIPE DRAWSTRING SUN NEW. Fabric: 100% Cotton. This is a medium weight fabric with a medium weave. Red and ivory floral and swirls in varying width stripes. Stripes run vertical on the dress and horizontal at the hem. Wide ivory gross grain ribbon ties stay tied better than satin ribbon. Ribbon tie ends are treated with liquid plastic to prevent fraying. The simply style and adjustable tie straps means this dress can be worn for many years. This dress will be below the knee on a 4 year old, at the knee on a 6 year old, and would also work as a tunic for an 8 year old and a top for a 10 to 12 year old. All seams are stitched twice, first with a sewing machine straight stitch and then a serger to prevent fraying. I strive to make clothes that last. I have not stitched the ribbon ties in place so they can be removed for washing or changing the tie color. For example a blue ribbon drawstrings could be used for a 4th of July dress. A ribbon tie belt can also be added I have included a picture of a doll dress I made to give an idea of what the dress would look like with a ribbon tie sash (Doll dress is NOT included).
