Pink solid fabric alternates with pink, orange and yellow floral calico print forming a patchwork on the front of this peasant style dress. Pink square in the center front is embroidered with pink, yellow, and white flowers with green leaves edging the V in the front. The V is edged with the calico print bias. A peasant neckline created with elastic has calico ties to mimic a drawstring. Short raglan sleeves end with elastic giving a slight puff to the sleeves. White scalloped trim edges the borders between the fabric patches. A 3/4 inch wide mint green gingham print ruffle at the hem. The vertical white lace causes the patches to pucker. this effect creates a scallop at the front center. It could be easily ironed out, but I personally like the country look it creates. Back of dress is the floral calico print. Dress pulls on over the head. Elastic waist panties are made of the calico floral print. Item # 728
