At the close of 2008 Mission City Press stopped selling Life of Faith dolls, clothing and accessories. If you are fortunate to own one of these dolls you know that the clothes are becoming scarce. Not all patterns available for the 18” dolls fit the Life of Faith dolls correctly. Now you can sew this party dress for Life of Faith 18 3/4" dolls. You can make a slightly modified version of Millie Keith's picnic dress or party dress. The dress looks nice on all the Life of Faith 18 3/4" dolls.
Life of Faith doll clothes pattern party dress. I have made and sold many clothes for the 18 3/4" Life of Faith doll. Most of the patterns from the pattern companys did not fit well. I was not pleased with the way the bodice fit. I am a perfectionist. So I took the dress that came with my Elsie Dinsmore doll and made a pattern. Then I sewed a dress and altered the pattern. I have made the dress with different sleeves. Every dress I have made from this pattern has sold for $25.00 and could probably sell for more. I do use quality fabric. This pattern is not for beginners and may be a challenge for intermediate seamstresses. It has 10 pieces. Simple dresses use 5 pieces. Since creating a pattern is a new venture for me, I am offering online help to anyone who purchases this pattern from me.
I sell every dress I put up for sale. The problem really is I can't sew enough dresses for the Life of Faith dolls. They have been discontinued and so have their clothes. I have spent many hours, creating the pattern, writing instructions, sewing the dresses and taking pictures.
SHIPPING and HANDLING: Contact me for the possibility of international shipping. Your package will usually ship within two business days of receiving payment. The item is packaged very carefully, usually in a plastic bag to keep it dry, should the package get wet, then in a box or bubble envelope. A packing slip is included in case the package ends up in the dead letter file. I use USPS tracking labels. I have not had a package that was not delivered. Recycled packaging will be used when available. The handling is to cover additional shipping costs such as gas, printer paper and ink, packing materials, bubble mailing envelopes, etc. Please check FAQ's for any changes in shipping information.
